DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: Undeveloped, vacant lot (50 ft. x 100
ft.) in Benton County, Missouri, near Warsaw. Lot 12, Block 1,
Third Addition to Mack's Grand River Development, Parcel ID No.
12-7.0-26-000-002-008.001. There is no street address for this
property. 2006 taxes of approx. $8.01 have been paid. According to
the treasurer there are no past due taxes. We have no pictures of
this property.
LOCATION: Benton County was named for Thomas Hart Benton,
U.S. senator. The county seat is Warsaw. Benton County was created
1835. North of the Osage River came from Pettis County, south of
the Osage from Green County. In 1841, a northwest section was
returned to Pettis County, and Niangua Township became part of
Kinderhook (Camden) County. The north half of Hickory County was
formed from southern Benton County in 1845 and the boundaries of
Benton County Missouri have remained unchanged since that time.
