ABOUT THE LOCATION: Sunshine Valley Ranchettes Subdivision is about a 30 minute drive southeast of Deming, New Mexico. Deming is in Luna County, located in the southwest portion of New Mexico. Las Cruces is the closest large city, about 65 miles east of Deming. The Arizona border is about 80 miles west. The Mexico border is about 35 miles south. Deming is located off Interstate-10. Luna County has 3 mountain ranges: Cooke's Range in the north, the Florida Mountains on the southeastern side of Deming near the center of the county, and the Tres Hermanas Mountains in the southern part of the county near Columbus.
