LOCATION: Oneida County was organized on January 22, 1864 as part of Idaho Territory. The original county seat was at Soda Springs in present-day Caribou County. The county seat was moved to Malad City in 1866 because of its population growth and location on the freight road and stagecoach line between Corinne, Utah, and the mines in Butte, Montana. Most of the county's population lives in Malad City and the surrounding Malad Valley. The county is named for Oneida Lake, New York, the area from which most of the early settlers had migrated. Elkhorn Peak is the highest point in the county, at 9,095 feet. Alternating valleys and ridges of mountains or hills typify the topography. Grassland and sagebrush cover most areas. The Curlew National Grassland lies within the county.

LIENS: Past due taxes are approx. $198.71. We do not know of any liens.

NOTES: This is all we know about this land. Bidders are encouraged to conduct their own research on this item. A title search was NOT performed on this property. BKAssets does not provide title insurance. If title insurance is desired, the buyer is responsible for obtaining it through a title company. A deed preparation fee of $200 (payable to seller) will apply. Any fees/liens owing on this item are not part of the final bid price. Serious bidders only. A bid submitted by a buyer is an agreement to our Terms. The eBay disclaimer in the "bid area" regarding "contract to purchase" does not apply to our Bankruptcy Court ordered sales. Buyers should not bid unless they fully intend to complete the sale in order to avoid the penalties listed in our Terms.
