DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: Approx. 40 acres of undeveloped, vacant land in Luna County, New Mexico, near Deming. There is no site address for this property. Property description: The Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 28 South, Range 8 West, N.M.P.M. Owner No. 0065009 and Parcel No. 3-046-164198-463. 2007 taxes are $162.12. Past due taxes are approx. $81.06 as of 05-01-08 (Debtors paid half). According to the Assessor, there is a well nearby, but there are no paved roads or utilities. We do not have any pictures of this parcel.

LOCATION: Luna County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Its county seat is Deming. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total of 2,965 square miles, of which, 2,965 square miles of it is land and 0 square miles of it is water. The bulk of the county is flat lowland, either grassland or desert scrub, but it also contains three mountain ranges: Cooke's Range in the north, the Florida Mountains on the southeastern side of Deming near the center of the county and the Tres Hermanas Mountains in the southern part of the county near Columbus.
