DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: Residential, unimproved, vacant land (1.15 acres) in Iron County, Utah, near Cedar City. Lot 3895, Garden Valley Ranchos, Unit 5, Parcel No. E-1695-0013-0014. According to the Iron County Treasurer, 2006 taxes of $8.81 have been paid and there are no past due taxes. Picture shown below is of the general area, not of this particular parcel.

LOCATION: Iron County was named for the iron mines west of Cedar City. The original name was Little Salt Lake Valley, but was renamed Iron County. The County Seat is Parowan. Iron County is a study in contrast from its arid western reaches of Escalante Desert and Great Basin ranges to the meadows and forests of the High Plateau on the east. The Markagunt Plateau is creased by the colorful formations of Cedar Breaks National Monument, a kind of miniature Bryce Canyon. Brian Head (11,307 feet), named for a profile resembling William Jennings Bryan, rises abruptly behind Iron County's major string of settlements and extracts a toll of precipitation from passing westerlies to feed the headwaters of the Sevier River.

LIENS: We do not know of any other liens.

NOTES: This is all we know about this land. Bidders are encouraged to conduct their own research on this item. A title search was NOT performed on this property. BKAssets does not provide title insurance. If title insurance is desired, the buyer is responsible for obtaining it through a title company. A deed preparation fee of $200 (payable to seller) will apply. Any fees/liens owing on this item are not part of the final bid price. Serious bidders only. A bid submitted by a buyer is an agreement to our Terms. The eBay disclaimer in the bid area regarding "Contract to Purchase" does not apply to our U.S. Bankruptcy Court Ordered Sales. Buyers should not bid unless they fully intend to complete the sale in order to avoid the penalties listed in our Terms.
