LOCATION: Barry County was organized in 1835 and named
after William Taylor Barry from Kentucky, a United States
Postmaster General. It's county seat is Cassville. Roaring River
State Park is located in the southern part of the county, amid the
Mark Twain National Forest. Shell Knob, Missouri is half way
between Branson, Missouri and Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Located in
a beautiful Ozark Mountain Valley of forests, and farms, Shell
Knob is where the White River once trickled and raged.
